Young Actors Workshops
(a new summer program)

PLT is starting a NEW
summer program, The Young Actors Workshops, that puts your
child on stage in a full production! Starting
July
2011, we will offer two summer
sessions.
The first, for ages 11-18 years, will feature a musical Annie, Jr. directed by Janet Sharpley, Book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Martin Chamin.
The second, for ages 8 - 13, will showcase the play "Many Princesses, Only One Crown", written and directed by Judie Valentine.
Each session will end with a complete show with several performances.
Our goal is to teach our youth all aspects of acting by providing safe, non-competitive performance opportunities. They will not only learn to act but also learn theatre etiquette, theatre terms, backstage, self-expression, team work, and respect for other actors and the directors.
The musical session will begin on July 5th, meeting daily 1:15PM to 6:00pm. There will be 7 performances July 15-17 & 21-24. Tuition is $175.00.
The play session will begin on July 18th, meeting daily from 9:00AM to 1:00PM. There will be 5 performances July 29, 30, and 31. Tuition is $125.00.
